The Call of Duty World championship is about to hit the gaming field once again and the players are getting excited. Here we have everything you need to know about Call of Duty World championship if you are planning to enjoy the event.MLG and Activision have recently announced that the Call of Duty World championship 2018 will be held on August 15th to 19th. The event will take place in Ohio, Orlando.

People are going to enjoy the complete action in first two days on August 15th and 16th because the matches will take place in the MLG Arena. Group play action will be featured on the 1st two days due to which the arena is closed to spectators. That is the only way players can focus on their game. The next matches will be held on the Nationwide Arena in Ohio. It is going to be the playoff bracket with more action on August 17th to 19th. In the Nationwide Arena, spectators can come and enjoy the event.

There are going to be 32 teams participating in the event this year. They will stay in Columbus which means that teams will get the chance to explore the area when they are not competing. The prize money of the championship is going to be $1.5 million.
16 teams have qualified through the Last Chance Qualifier. This is a tournament where players have a last chance of qualifying for the biggest tournament of the year.

Grand Finals:

In order to win the team has to be the winner of 1 best of 5 series while if you are coming from the losers side you have to win 2 best of 5 series.
